Some notes on physics topics

Here I collect short notes on physics topics. I write such notes in order to clarify things for myself. In particular, I sometimes have to remind myself how to connect some expression from advanced theoretical physics to what I learned in elementary classes. Then it usually takes a few pages of handwritten calculations to see how things work out. In some lucky cases I find the time to write the results down properly, and this is what you can find here.
